Here at Grace Point, we hope that you will find a community of believers that truly desire to live out what we claim to believe! We desire to lift up God’s Word in everything that we do. Because of that, you will find that it is a critical part of our preaching, teaching and life groups.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We gather together as the body of Christ every Sunday so we can be equipped to go out across our community during the week. In our preaching, we typically go through the Bible one book at a time, verse by verse, allowing His Word to direct and change our thoughts and actions as we live in this world. It is our prayer that Grace Point can be a place where you can worship God, enjoy the fellowship of others and be transformed by His Word.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE?
We encourage you to come early to let our Connect Team help you find where you are going, give yourself time to get a cup of coffee, and check in your kids. We hope you fill out the Connection Card in the Bibles in the seat pockets on your first visit. This allows someone from our church family to follow up with you and help you take your next step. Hand the card to someone at the Welcome Center and receive a gift just for you.
WHAT IS WORSHIP LIKE?
Through our worship arts teams, you’ll experience an amazing time of worship directed to God alone. We mix contemporary worship songs with upbeat traditional hymns of the faith to achieve a great balance of worship styles. Our worship time is carefully planned to prepare hearts and minds to receive what God will say through the preaching of His Word.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At Grace Point we encourage you to come as you are. Most people attend wearing business-casual attire; some wear dress shirts and dresses and others wear jeans and t-shirts. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about; it’s not about the style of clothing we choose.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
The first time you join us for worship at Grace Point, please plan to arrive about 15 minutes early so that we can help you register your family.
At the check in area, you’ll be greeted by a volunteer or staff member who will help you check in your family. You will be given a name tag for each child. Just fill out the top portion and place it on your child, then keep the bottom portion for you to present when you pick up your children.
There is a number on the bottom portion of the tag, if we need you for any reason the number will be displayed on the screens in the Worship Center.
You will also be given a Grace Point Connection Card. You can fill out this card for your family and return it to the Welcome Center. Next time you visit you will be ready to check in electronically.
